  42. Running
  43. The [Shift] key will put you in run mode.  While holding the shift key:
  44. * press the up arrow to run forward
  45. * press the left or right arrows to turn quickly
  46.  
  47. Jumping
  48. The [Ctrl] key will put you in jump mode.  While holding the [Ctrl] key:
  49. * Press the up arrow to jump forward
  50. * Press the right and left arrows to jump sideways
  51.  
  52. Combat
  53. The [Alt] key will put you into attack mode.  While holding the [Alt] key:
  54.  
  55. (no weapon in hand)
  56. * Press the up arrow to kick
  57. * Press the left and right arrows to punch
  58. * Press the down arrow to block
  59. * Pressing the [Ctrl] key along with the left and right arrow keys will cause
  60.   your character to dodge left and right
  61.  
  62. (with a weapon in hand)
  63. * Press the up arrow to fire your weapon
  64. * Press the left and right arrows to turn and aim
  65.  
  66. You cannot kick or punch if you are holding a weapon.
  67. You may hold a weapon in one hand and an inventory item in the other hand.
  68.  
  69. To cycle through your weapons, use the [Home] and [End] keys.
  70. To select a particular weapon, use the number keys 1-9.
  71.  
  72. To cycle through your inventory, use the [Page Up] and [Page Down] keys.
  73. To use an inventory item press the space bar while holding the item.
  74. To drop an inventory item press the [Delete] key.
  75.  
  76. To open doors, press the space bar while facing the door.  If the door is locked, 
  77. you may need to use a key on it.  To use a key, cycle through your inventory
  78. until you are holding the correct key, then face the door and press the space bar.
  79.  
  80. To examine things in the room (where available), face the item and press the 
  81. space bar. Sometimes you will be able to manipulate the item you are examining
  82. by using the mouse.

  84. To pick up an item, press the space bar while you are near the item.
